Anna Kinbom works with songs and lyrics that form a foundation for her performances. In 2022, she published a collection of texts and song lyrics (Cuestión Editora, Buenos Aires) as part of a residency with the Curatorial Program for Research.
In recent years, Kinbom has portrayed times of change in various works, and this has been expressed in installations as well as performances and sound and video works.
Kinbom has exhibited at Extention Art Space (2023), Whose Museum, Konsthall C, Konstväxlingar, Skanstull (2022), Celsius Projects, and Konstepidemin (2021). She is part of several collaborations, including SONG, which will exhibit in the AR exhibition Woven Spaces presented by the Swedish Art Associations across Sweden in the summer of 2023. Anna Kinbom holds an MFA from the Royal Institute of Art (2013) and has also studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. She lives and works in Stockholm.
