Art Camp in Högsby

Now it's time for this year's edition of Art Camp – Kalmar Art Museum's mobile studio activities for youth aged 10–15. This summer we will be in the following locations: Högsby, Hultsfred, Torsås, and Mönsterås. During Art Camp, children and young people have the opportunity to meet our artists and experiment with various materials, techniques, and expressions. This year, Art Camp takes inspiration from the Småland Biennial – an exhibition where different actors around Småland explore the geography and challenges of the landscape under the common theme "Small Land" during the summer of 2023. Together with an artist, we will discover the surroundings of the landscape by collecting materials in all its forms to create our own little Småland – as we want it to look.
