Program
Now it's time for this year's edition of Konstkollo – Kalmar Art Museum's mobile studio activity for young people aged 10–15. This summer, we will be in the following locations: Högsby, Hultsfred, Torsås, and Mönsterås. During Konstkollo, children and young people have the opportunity to meet our artists and experiment with different materials, techniques, and expressions. This year, Konstkollo will draw inspiration from the Småland Biennial – an exhibition where various actors throughout Småland will explore the geography and challenges of the landscape under the common theme "Små Land" during the summer of 2023. Together with an artist, we will discover the surroundings of the landscape by collecting materials in all their forms to create our own little Småland – as we want it to look.
In Mönsterås, we will continue our theme about LEARNING ABOUT THE ARCHIVE, an ongoing project involving the Design Archive in Nybro. This year, we return to the Stranda local heritage association where we will explore Stranda's various collections over the course of a week.
Free of charge for children and young people aged 10–15 years, and we will provide snacks every day.
