Art Camp in Torsås

Now it's time for this year's edition of Art Camp – Kalmar Art Museum's mobile studio program for young people between the ages of 10-15. This summer, we will be in the following locations: Högsby, Hultsfred, Torsås, and Mönsterås. During Art Camp, children and young people have the opportunity to meet our artists and experiment with various materials, techniques, and expressions. This year, Art Camp takes its cue from the Småland Biennial – an exhibition where various actors across Småland explore the geography and challenges of the landscape with the common theme "Small Lands" during the summer of 2023. Together with an artist, we will discover the surroundings of the landscape by collecting materials in all their forms to create our own little Småland – as we want it to look.
