Program
Welcome to a seminar at Kalmar Art Museum that focuses on increasing knowledge about designed living environments. During the seminar, working methods, tools, and cross-sector collaborations within architecture, art, design, and cultural heritage will be discussed.
When designing people's living environments, regions and municipalities play a significant role in terms of inclusion, as well as social and long-term sustainability and attractiveness. The area is also important for strengthening democracy and addressing the challenges of society. The seminar is organized by the visual and design developer in Kalmar County in connection with the Småland Triennale, where designed living environment is one of the tracks in the triennial's program, and to NOKK, a network for public art in Kalmar County. The program is broadly aimed at civil servants, politicians, and artists in Kalmar County.
The moderator for the discussions is Pernilla Frid, who works with projects and art education at Kalmar Art Museum. She has a background as an illustrator, a teacher at Linnaeus University, and an art consultant for public art.
The seminar is free of charge. Register by emailing info@kalmarkonstmuseum.se no later than September 20th. Any dietary preferences should be communicated.
