Be a farmer for a day

Be a farmer for a day is a site-specific performance that explores the relationship between people and landscape. When people develop a love for the land, they change internally. This love motivates and energizes them to take actions such as defending, protecting, and celebrating the natural world.

Welcome to be a farmer for a day with The Dirt, a patch of land that hosts many different species and ages. Accompanying you are dancer Boaz Barkan, design educator Zeenath Hasan, and students from the Department of Design at Linnaeus University.

Be prepared to engage for 1 to 2 hours. Dress for outdoor use. Gloves, tools, boots, and work clothes will be provided if needed. Bring your own drinking water.
