Welcome to the Småland Triennial's dialogue meeting nr 2: Theme Preparedness @ Yellowbox Öland
Following the success of the kickoff meeting in Bodafors, we now continue to meet, get inspired, and converse with artists and other cultural workers across our vast geography; next time on Öland, on May 9th. But also two more occasions in May.Sign up for our newsletter so you won't miss these!
We at Konstfrämjandet Småland and the Småland Triennale are pleased to invite you to our next dialogue meeting, an inspiring event at Yellowbox on Öland. The meeting is aimed at those who want to be inspired, participate in, and discuss the artistic work leading up to the Småland Triennale 2026.
We will meet to kick off artistic processes and collaborations, network, and explore cross-border methods and sustainable perspectives.
The theme for next year's triennale is Anxiety – Art, preparedness, and resistance. At Yellowbox, we focus specifically on preparedness; cross-border collaborations and the resilience-building potential of art.
The number of places is limited so register now!
Time: Friday, May 9, from 10:00 AM – approx. 3:00 PM
Location: Yellowbox, Öland
Yellowbox, run by Edward Whittaker and Helle Kvamme, opens dialogues about the artist's relationship to the landscape and creates a foundation for long-term and in-depth processes. Through place-based methods and slow sketching, landscapes between forest and water are explored.
