Oskar Gustafsson is a designer and artist driven by his interest in the meeting between humans and material.
With wood as his main material he works in an exploratory process where the hand and the making is a central part. By engaging hands and body in the process, it enables intuition and quiet knowledge to lead the work forward, and to let the material be part in directing the outcome. Wood with its unique qualities doesn’t always have to limit what is possible, it can also present new alternatives and invite to another conversation.
