Welcome to join us for a guided art walk in the Österängen Sculpture Park. Since the Österängen Art Hall opened in 2015, around 15 public artworks have been erected at Österängen and in Huskvarna and around Vättern. Seven of the works were part of the project "Nature Takes Over," where artists were invited to address "biological diversity" from various perspectives. The latest additions to the sculpture park are works from the project "Kojan," where artists aghili/karlsson, Robin Tidblom, Ruben Wätte, and Lekkontoret were invited to explore the concept of "spontaneous playground" together with children from preschools, after-school centers, and youth clubs.
During this walk of approximately two kilometers, we will showcase the "kojorna" and a selection of other works in the sculpture park. If you wish to visit the sculpture park on your own, a map is available for pickup at the art hall.
Practical information
The walk takes about 45 minutes. We will walk on an asphalted path suitable for wheelchairs, but it includes inclines and declines.
We will meet at Österängen Art Hall at 14:00.
